Repair Meetup Lerchenberg: Repair together instead of throwing away

When an electrical device malfunctions, a small appliance no longer works, or a bicycle needs repair, a practical evening full of commitment begins at the neighborhood store Lerchenberg: At the Repair Meetup, volunteers support visitors in restoring defective everyday items.

Screwing, checking, and repairing

The focus is on electrical devices, small appliances, and bicycles. Experienced helpers look together with the guests at the source of the error, explain the individual work steps, and provide practical tips for everyday life. This creates an event experience that combines repair knowledge, resource conservation, and personal encounters.

Sustainability with a personal atmosphere

The Repair Meetup Lerchenberg sends a clear signal against hasty disposal. The volunteer organization extends the lifespan of used items and makes sustainable action tangible on site. Between tools, spare parts, and focused conversations, an open event atmosphere develops, where help for self-help is at the center.

Engagement in the neighborhood

The offering serves as both a meeting point and a neighborhood project. The event planning in the neighborhood store brings together people with diverse experiences: Visitors come with a defective item, while volunteers bring technical knowledge and a joy for tinkering together. Helpers are still being sought who enjoy screwing and would like to support the team.

An evening for practical solutions

The audience atmosphere thrives on trying things out together and the success when a device works again or a bicycle can continue to be used after repair. The Repair Meetup connects sustainability, community, and practical expertise into a special offer in the Mainz district of Lerchenberg.

If you do not want to give up broken items too quickly or want to contribute your repair knowledge, you will find an engaged meeting point at the Repair Meetup Lerchenberg. Experience the event in the neighborhood store and make sustainable repairs practically visible in the neighborhood.
