An animal journey to big questions for little explorers

How much is actually ten? The little wolf wants to know exactly and asks his father curious questions: Am I already big, strong, wild, and fluffy? At the Kamishibai in the Weisenau district library, children experience a heartwarming story about self-perception, comparisons, and growing up.

Pictures, questions, and children's laughter

The Kamishibai combines narrated picture book cinema with attentive listening. Vivid comparisons from the animal world make abstract sizes tangible and invite children to express their own thoughts. This creates a child-friendly learning experience that connects curiosity, language development, and joint reflection.

Age-appropriate learning fun with educational value

The story opens a safe space for discussions about development, self-image, and external perception. Children discover that big, strong, or wild can have very different meanings. Parents experience a shared time where listening, wonder, and conversation come together naturally.

A family experience in the library

The Weisenau district library particularly targets children up to elementary school age and their parents. As a place for reading promotion and early education, it creates a calm, protected environment for children's literature, picture stories, and shared learning experiences.

Conclusion: Discovering together what ten means
