At the Kamishibai storytelling theater "Elf Emil and the Christmas Commotion," children aged 4 to 7 discover a lovingly told Christmas story and enjoy quality time with their families.

Elf Emil turns Advent time upside down

Elf Emil spends the Advent season with the Klein family. On his journey through the forest and in the house, the little Christmas elf leaves behind mysterious traces and brings surprises with his pranks. The picture cards of the Kamishibai make the story visually engaging for children and invite attentive listening, wonder, and excitement.

Reading, discovering, and creative learning fun

The reading theater combines child-friendly storytelling with visual impressions. Children follow the story step by step, expand their imagination, and experience language as a shared adventure. The age-appropriate design supports concentration, language development, and joy in books.

Crafting together after the story

After the Kamishibai, there will be crafting together. The children can creatively express their impressions and create their own little memory of the elf adventure. Crafting strengthens fine motor skills, promotes independence, and creates a smooth transition from listening to doing.

A safe space for curious children

The district library offers a manageable framework for a relaxed family experience. The event is aimed at children aged 4 to 7 years. Registration is required to participate. Parents and accompanying persons experience a child-friendly event where safety, shared experiences, and joy in stories are at the center.
