Sing, laugh, and forget the everyday life together: Pub Choir at Caipiranha
On Monday, December 7, 2026, Caipiranha in Mainz will become an open meeting point for everyone who wants to not just listen to music but also be a part of it. The pub choir features popular songs from rock, pop, hits, oldies, and folk songs.
A pub becomes a concert hall
In a cozy atmosphere, music-loving people meet, enjoy a cold drink, and sing their favorite songs together. The song selection is based on the audience's wishes. Thus, each evening turns into an individual concert experience with spontaneous highlights and an immediate live atmosphere.
Live music with guitar and visible song lyrics
The requested pieces are accompanied live on guitar, while the lyrics are projected onto the wall. This way, every voice finds its place—from experienced singers to guests who initially listen and later spontaneously join in. The direct sound, the closeness to the music, and the open audience mood make the pub choir a unique Mainz sing-along format.
Rock, pop, hits, and oldies for many generations
The repertoire combines different musical tastes and generations. Well-known melodies meet collective conducting from the audience, spontaneous choir voices, and the special acoustics of a lively pub. The focus is not on a perfect stage performance but on the joy of making music together.
Conclusion: Mainz sings together
Anyone looking for a sociable evening with live music, favorite songs, and real community will experience a pub choir evening with a personal touch at Caipiranha. Come by, request your favorite song, and simply sing along—or enjoy the colorful activity with a drink.
