Christmas with the Zucchini Sistaz: Swing, Humor, and Festive Shine in Mainz

If Christmas had a sound home, it would be at the Frankfurter Hof Mainz. On Sunday, December 13, 2026, the ZUCCHINI SISTAZ will transform their Christmas program into a sparkling concert experience blending jazz, swing, three-part harmonies, and winking musical cabaret.

A Musical Advent Calendar Full of Surprises

The three musicians present Christmas songs from around the world with a special retro sound and high stage presence. Guitar, double bass, and trumpet meet flugelhorn, clarinet, accordion, xylophone, ukulele, and trombone. This creates a versatile orchestration that combines festive tonal colors with rhythmic ease.

Christmas Mood with Charm and Subtle Humor

On stage, there will be snacking and smiling, mandarins will be peeled, and the Christmas cookie ABC will be celebrated. Even the stable of Bethlehem comes to life acoustically. Between musical precision, cabaret interludes, and lovingly staged show moments, a live atmosphere unfolds that touches both the heart and the diaphragm.

Three Virtuosos with Distinctive Sound

Tina Werzinger sings and plays guitar and ukulele, Jule Balandat takes on vocals and double bass, while Sinje Schnittker adds vocals and trumpet, as well as flugelhorn, trombone, clarinet, xylophone, and accordion. Their flawless three-part harmonies and the precise synchronization of the instruments shape the characteristic Zucchini retro sound.

Guest performances with Götz Alsmann, the SWR Big Band, the Pfister siblings, and Gerburg Jahnke highlight the trio's recognition in the music and small arts scene. With around 100 concerts a year, the ZUCCHINI SISTAZ combine musical expertise, stage performance, and an immediately palpable audience mood.

A Festive Evening at the Frankfurter Hof

The Frankfurter Hof in Mainz's old town provides the perfect setting for this pre-Christmas concert evening. The show starts at 7:00 PM. The audience can expect not an ordinary Christmas concert, but a charming mix of swing, jazz, humor, virtuosic instrumental artistry, and touching song magic.

Conclusion

Christmas with the Zucchini Sistaz brings sparkling tonal colors, heartfelt humor, and musical versatility to the stage. Those who want to start the Advent season with a special concert experience will find an evening full of shine, warmth, and surprising moments at the Frankfurter Hof Mainz.
